There is a need for a highly effective acne treatment to help people improve skin quality. Teens often go through a period where they breakout with pimples on their faces. This can be embarrassing for some teenagers, and for other teenagers absolutely humiliating. Also, young adults can find themselves with pimples on their face that need treatment.
Advantages of Using the Maxi Clarity Acne System
Max Clarity Acne system promises their customers clear beautiful skin. Max Clarity describes their product as different in that it is foam. They propose that the foam is “micronized”; and because of being micronized, penetrates skin more deeply and produces better skin treatment. The company suggests the advantage of foam is that foam is quicker acting than creams or oils. They claim that the active ingredients of Salicylic Acid and Benzoyl Peroxide account for the highly effective treatment. They describe their product as formulated by a prestigious dermatology company, Stiefer. Stiefer usually produces prescription drugs; but in contrast, Max Clarity can be bought over the counter. The advantage of over the counter drugs is that they are typically cheaper than prescription drugs.
Concerns about Maxi Clarity Acne
On their website Max Clarity states a caveat. They say that if you do not see improvement, keep using the product anyway. That comment raised concerns for me. Is there some doubt that the product works? Why continue to use a product that does not work. Might the problem be that the product contains Salicylic Acid and Benzoyl Peroxide, and these ingredients have been proven to be ineffective in other acne products? Another claim by the company is that the foam works more quickly and goes deeper into the pores of the skin than other products. I can understand that individuals might have a preference for a product that is either cream, oil, or foam because of how it feels on the skin; but I cannot imagine that it would make a difference in how the chemicals in the medication treat the acne. Max Clarity is only one treatment. To assume that one treatment can treat all forms of acne is presumptuous. There is a wide spectrum of reasons for acne. With dozens of possibilities for acne, there needs to be targeted treatments to address the reasons behind the acne.
Conclusion
There are many questions about the benefit of using Max Clarity. Before selecting Max Clarity, I would recommend that consumers learn the nature of their acne, and then carefully select the acne product that best addresses their skin problem.
